I had my first solo art show!

I know, shame on me for never bringing this up. Oops. And it was cut very short by Sandy-- got it up by Wednesday afternoon, & it's coming down this afternoon.

The reception was tiny (not a lot of people showed up), but nice.

I've still got to do things like crop some images before they're suitable for showing (hahahaha aren't i funny), but there's some new things that i might not have posted up on my DeviantART, if you're interested.

I've painted a little bit tonight. The gold paint i'm using (it sounds tacky, but there's a reason, honest) smells so toxic that i've had to put my fan back in my window to try & air out my room. So i'm really cold right now & wondering if i should sleep in a room with this gold paint....

The final Alumni Show Closing in the old CCAT building was the thirteenth (this past Tuesday). This is what i put in it. I'm upset about the fact that they're razing the old building, but it was nice to be reminded that the new building's "inaugural show" would be the Alumni Show.


Here's my camera for Photo. It's old; from either the 70s or 80s. The lens i bought used because the camera's own lens was broken (the focus). It doesn't count out the frames, so i need to make tick marks whenever i (hopefully) take a shot. Won't know until Tuesday if anything came out (& only then if i manage to develop the film correctly).

I dunno just thought it might be funny/interesting (re: ppl’s reactions/what might happen to the canvas)

Trying to not fall down a flight of stairs is certainly interesting.
